How I got here (And why I love it SO much!)

When I was 30 and left my manager job at Starbucks to focus on doing photography, I had no clue where it would take me! All I knew was I was stuck in a rut at a job that sucked the joy out of my life. I enjoyed the process of crafting signature coffees and the connections I had with my customers, but I had that quintessential experience of getting a new boss who was terrible. Like...TERRIBLE, terrible. So with my husband's support, I went from serving coffee to shooting weddings full-time and have never looked back.

These days, you’ll find me working from my home office with coffee in hand, dreaming up my next home project for my husband, soaking up life with my two kids, Jackson and Harper, or laughing alongside my couples while capturing the real, joyful moments of their day. Creating a wedding experience that feels relaxed, fun, and genuinely you is my favorite part of what I do—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
