Avon Gardens Summer Wedding

They say rain on your wedding day is good luck—but after Sarah and Jake’s beautiful wedding at Avon Gardens, I’d say it’s more than that. It’s proof that love, joy, and a great attitude can turn any forecast into something magical.

From the moment I arrived, the skies were gray and heavy, and it wasn’t long before the rain came pouring down. But you know what? Sarah and Jake never flinched. They were calm, joyful, and completely unfazed. If anything, the rain just made their day feel even more romantic.

They shared the sweetest first look among the gardens—just the two of them, tucked beneath the trees, letting the moment settle in. It was quiet, heartfelt, and so full of love. After that, we wandered through the lush garden paths, umbrellas in hand, and took some of my favorite portraits ever. The raindrops clinging to the flowers, the soft light through the clouds, the way Jake looked at Sarah like she was the only thing in the world—it was all pure magic.

Avon Gardens, even in the rain, was absolutely stunning. The colors popped, the greenery felt fresh and alive, and every inch of the space looked like something out of a storybook. Honestly, I think the weather made it even more memorable.

Sarah and Jake have officially become my new model couple when it comes to rainy wedding days. They embraced every moment, laughed through the puddles, and focused on what really mattered: starting their forever, together.
