A Colorful Summer Wedding at The Blossom Barn

If there was ever a wedding that perfectly matched the joy of summer, it was Aislinn and Ish’s beautiful day at The Blossom Barn!! Between the colorful wedding party, one absolutely stunning wedding dress, and a reception that kept everyone on the dance floor, this was such a fun day from beginning to end!!

I’ve always loved photographing weddings at The Blossom Barn. It’s one of those venues that has so much charm and character while still giving couples plenty of beautiful spaces for portraits. Every time I pull into the driveway, I know it’s going to be a good day, and Aislinn and Ish’s wedding was no exception!

Can we talk about Aislinn’s dress for a second, though?! 😍 She wore the most beautiful Ariel-inspired Disney wedding dress, and it fit her so perfectly. It was elegant, unique, and such a fun reflection of her personality. Every time she walked, the skirt moved so beautifully, and I honestly don’t know how I picked favorite portraits because she looked incredible in every single one!

The color palette for the day was just as gorgeous! The bright colors the bridesmaids wore paired perfectly with the guys’ attire, making everything feel vibrant, cheerful, and full of life. It all came together so beautifully against the backdrop of The Blossom Barn and gave the entire day such a fun summer feel.

Before the ceremony, Aislinn shared the sweetest First Look with her dad. Those moments always get me. Watching a parent see their daughter all dressed up before she walks down the aisle is something so special, and it was such a meaningful way to begin the day. Afterward, we took advantage of the extra time to capture portraits before guests arrived, which meant everyone could relax and enjoy the celebration once the ceremony was over.

And then… it was finally time for these two to get married!!

Their ceremony was filled with so much excitement, and you could tell everyone there was genuinely thrilled to celebrate alongside them. There were so many smiles, happy tears, and little moments throughout the ceremony that made the day feel incredibly personal.

When we talked before the wedding, Aislinn and Ish warned me that their guests were going to bring the energy once the reception started… and they were absolutely right 😂

The dance floor stayed packed all night long! Every time I looked over, someone new was out there dancing, laughing, and celebrating. It’s always so much fun photographing receptions where everyone is fully invested in having the best time, and this group definitely understood the assignment!!!
