THE FUN & EXCITING THINGS THAT FILLED MY WEEK

Happy Friday, friends! What fun plans do you have for the weekend?!

If you’re new to Life With the Carneys, click HERE to read the first one before you get started! If you’ve already been wonderful enough to follow along for the Life with the Carneys series fun, welcome back!

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to the last couple of weeks:

Did a small update around the house and updated the light in our stairwell. The previous owners did a lot of things well when building the house…but there were some light fixtures that left a lot to be desired. Especially with the beautiful Edison light ones downstairs!! We love this one much more!

Texas trip – If you’re not following me on Instagram and/or don’t watch Stories, you missed my vacation photo dump! For the first week of spring break we traveled with my parents to Texas to see my sister. It was just the break we needed!

Jackson being a Lego-obsessed 6 year old, we knew we had to include a trip to LegoLand!! This one was quite the secret to keep, as Jackson wanted to use his allowance to buy, you guessed it, more Legos before we went. 😂 They were so excited when we drove up, so it was well worth it!!

Part of our pass to LegoLand included tickets to the sea life aquarium so we spent the rest of the after wandering around looking at our favorite ocean animals!

Did we plan our trip excursions around what Jackson loves? Not intentionally but yeah it turned out that way. 🤣 We headed the next day to the Perot Museum to see the dinosaurs. They had other exhibits, but it was really just a race to see the dinosaurs!

The day we went to the museum was also our nephew Sawyer’s birthday, so we did bowling and arcade games in the evening to celebrate! It was Jackson and Harper’s first time bowling and boy was it entertaining to watch. 😂

The final day we were able to go see Sawyer play t-ball and relax. We spent the afternoon doing more Lego building before our final dinner at Chuy’s! The kids are already asking when we can pack up and do it again!!
