Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to the last several weeks:

WHEW friends, I got way behind on keeping up with this series!! The reason, you ask?? Well if you missed our announcement on social media, besides the busy wedding season we also decided to up and move! We found an amazing house that we love, we’re so excited for all the fun memories we’ll be making here! I know how much everyone loves behind the scenes of home updates, so if you’re not already following me on Instagram, give it a follow so you can watch all the Stories I’ll be posting!

A week or so before the move we had my mom down to stay for a couple of days during her vacation. The kiddos had only seen her for a couple of hours at a time for some family functions, so they were over the moon to have her all to themselves for several days. And they loved getting to show her the new “gray house” during our final walkthrough that happened while she was here!

Mid-September we headed back to Lake Shafer to spend the day at the cabins there to celebrate our nephew Joe’s birthday. Jackson and Harper loved getting to see everyone and of course the candy they got to have!

One of the top reasons we love this house?? THE POOL! We had my sister and nephew over for our first night out of swimming and smores around the fire pit!

This week was fall break for Jon and Jackson, so it was nice to have everyone home to help get the house set up and organized. We just wish COVID didn’t have us waiting so long for some of the furniture we need to ship or be available for order!

I had the best time capturing some fun branding images for my friend Alaina! We met in a photography group a while ago and were both lucky to attend the KJ Live Event last year. We promised to get together since we live close and it only took us 9 months 😂  #momlife
