We survived virtual learning! Jackson was so good at doing it, but after Christmas, he was SO excited to go back and see his teacher and friends. He is struggling some to get back into the groove of things behavior-wise. But he went from being at home with no distractions to now overstimulated in a classroom full of other first graders. We’re working through it though with lots (and LOTS) of patience.

Anyone else suffer from a serious lack of motivation to get the Christmas decorations down? I finally got ours taken care of because I was sick of not being able to run our Roomba. It enjoyed eating our tree skirt so I just put boxes up around the tree as a shield and it vacuumed to its little heart’s content. Then we got rid of the boxes and I was SOL. 😂

Favorite Christmas gift ALERT: Jon took that SNL skit of a mom only get a robe for Christmas to heart and went out of his way to buy me the biggest, fluffiest robe he could find. Jokes on him though because I LOVE it and basically live in it now. Harper also begs me to wear it too, sometimes at the same time. 😂  Yet another reason to just put on yoga pants and a t-shirt every day!

The new year meant a new website!! This isn’t the first time I’ve rung in the year with a new site, but this one is just DIFFERENT. As soon as I saw it, I knew I needed to get it. I bought it in the middle of summer’s busy season knowing I would be able to work on it until the winter! From the design to the colors to the personal touches, it’s the most ME website I’ve ever had!!
