THE FUN & EXCITING THINGS THAT FILLED MY WEEK

Happy Friday, friends! What fun plans do you have for the weekend?!

I turned 34 last week! It feels really weird to say that, as I don’t feel like I’m 34. Well, maybe when I wake up with a wedding hangover, but then I feel like I’m 94. 😂 I am so thankful for all the people that reached out to say happy birthday! How did I celebrate my birthday, you’re wondering? By having a doubleheader of weddings to photograph!! Luckily I got to spend the entire time with my bestie Abbie!

While I spent the entire weekend photographing weddings, Jon took the kids and headed south to visit his sister and grandparents. They had a wonderful time being spoiled by their Nana and Papa as well as taking their first trip to Holiday World! They both got to pick what rides they felt comfortable going on. They tried some of the big rides and though were scared, Jon and I were very proud of how brave they were!

We had a ton of rain this week which left the kids a little stir crazy. We ended up chancing the rain and drove up to IKEA, then went out for pizza and ice cream. We found a new favorite pizza place in town and you definitely can’t go wrong eating at Handel’s Ice Cream. Soooo good!

I’ve done it. I’ve become a crazy plant lady. 😂 I have always loved succulents, but never took the time to get myself any. My brother-in-law Nathan gave me a cute succulent for Christmas and I’ve been obsessed ever since! Jon tolerates me and even put up some shelves this week to house them all. It turned out to be cuter than I imagined!

This June wasn’t nearly as packed as last year with weddings, I only had two! They were both so wonderful, I wish we could go back and do it all over again!
