The Fun & Exciting Things We’ve Been Up To!

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to the last couple of weeks:

The first week of January the kids headed back to school! They were ready to see their friends again, for sure! Jon was still off and what does he do when he’s bored at home? A home project we’ve had on the list!! 😂 He updated the shelving in our pantry, which meant I got to update all our storage containers and bins. It turned out so good!!

Harper had to get a cavity filled last week! She’s not a fan of the dentist, so they tried laughing gas to help her relax. She did so well listening to her hygienist and they explained things every step of the way so she could feel safe. I really think that makes all the difference, knowing what they’re putting in your mouth, what sounds it’s going to make, and what it’s going to do to your teeth! She got a face painting by the dentist when they were done since she did so great!

I’m trying to be better this year about not just focusing on home and work, but also my friendships. I met up with my girlfriends Abbie and Maria for lunch, it’s always a great time! Abbie also had a Christmas present for me, she knows me so well 🤣

For this month’s date night, Jon set up a surprise for me! He created a list of choices and as the date went on, I chose between two cards, and whatever I picked is what we did. It was really fun! We went to Lowes where I was able to pick out a new plant and then we ended the night with dinner and dessert at The Melting Pot!!
