A Joyful Owl Ridge Wedding Filled With Bold Color and So Much Love

I have been so excited to share Amanda and Erin’s wedding! From the second I walked into Owl Ridge, I was obsessed with everything about their day. Their bold pink and orange color palette was absolutely stunning and brought so much fun and personality to every part of the celebration! It was bright, colorful, joyful…basically everything I love! And can we talk about their gowns for a second?! They both looked absolutely incredible!

As beautiful as all the details were, though, my favorite part of the day wasn’t the flowers or the décor. It was the two of them!

If I could give one piece of advice to every couple planning a wedding, it would be to do exactly what Amanda and Erin did. They didn’t spend the day worrying about every little thing or stressing over whether everything was going perfectly. They focused on what actually mattered. They spent the day loving each other, laughing together, and soaking in every minute of finally getting to call each other wives. It was such a joy to watch because you could tell they were completely present the entire day! Which, selfishly, makes my job easier as a photographer! 😂

That’s something I’ve always admired about their relationship. From the time they started dating, there has never been a doubt that they were meant to be each other’s safe place. They have this calmness about them when they’re together that’s so special to witness. Whether they were holding hands during portraits, sneaking little smiles across the room, or sharing a quiet moment between all the excitement, you could see how naturally they fit together!

Those are the kinds of moments that I love documenting. Years from now, the beautiful flowers and gorgeous details will remind them what their wedding looked like, but it’s these little in-between moments that will remind them exactly how it felt.

Amanda and Erin, thank you so much for trusting me to document such an incredible day! It was such an honor to celebrate alongside the two of you, and I hope these photos always bring you right back to the excitement, joy, and love you felt on your wedding day. Congratulations again!
