Engagement Photos at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
Some engagement session locations are beautiful because of the scenery. Others are beautiful because of the memories they hold. For Callie and Josh, Rose-Hulman is both!!
Instead of choosing a location simply because it looked pretty, they wanted to celebrate a place that has been part of their story from the very beginning. Rose-Hulman is where their relationship grew, and in just a few short months, it’ll also be where they promise forever to each other. I don’t know that it gets much more meaningful than that!
One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is when couples choose a location that truly means something to them. Years from now, these photos won’t just remind Callie and Josh of what they looked like during this season of life. They’ll remind them of where it all started and all the memories they made walking these same paths together.
As we wandered around campus, it was easy to see how comfortable these two are together. They spent the evening laughing, talking, and soaking up every minute together, which always makes for my favorite kinds of photos. Nothing felt forced or rushed. It simply felt like two best friends getting to celebrate this exciting season before becoming husband and wife.
I also have to say, Rose-Hulman made such a beautiful backdrop for their session! Between the gorgeous architecture, tree-lined walkways, and all the little corners around campus, there were so many beautiful places to stop for portraits. It gave us such a great mix of classic, timeless images while still feeling incredibly personal to the two of them!!
