What To Do With Your Engagement Pictures

You walked away from your engagement session with photos you absolutely love! One thing I love as a photographer is seeing the unique ways couples use their images. What are some things you can do with them? Here are some fun options!

1. Save The Dates

Save the dates are the first impression your guests will get of your wedding day. They’ll help set the tone, use your beautiful engagement photos to help do it! They’re a great way to get your date into people’s calendars ahead of time. And there are so many options you can do, such as cards, magnets, digital cards, and more!

2. Wedding Website

You want your guests to have all the details, so chances are you’ve put together a wedding website. Use your engagement photos to liven it up! People connect more to seeing your face than just words on a screen. Plus websites look weird without any photos on them!

3. Hang Them Up

Get 👏🏻 those 👏🏻 images 👏🏻 off 👏🏻 your 👏🏻 computer👏🏻!!! There are some great options for printing your photos on your own (Shutterfly or Artifact Uprising), but also ask your photographer for recommendations! They’ll know the best labs to print through and those to avoid. Plus you’ll get exclusive access to the professional labs they get to use as a business. This means you’ll get the best quality images money can buy! There are so many framing options, but my favorite is the Ribba frames you can find at IKEA! They come in a variety of sizes and are super affordable!!

4. Guest Book

Don’t have your guest book yet? Have your photographer use your engagement photos to make one for you! I LOVE making these for my couples!! They send me 25-30 of their favorites and I design a beautiful book they can set out at the reception for guests to sign. Not everyone is all over social media, so it’s another great way to share your images with family and friends that might not have seen them yet!

5. Make An Album

Take your favorite images and put an album together! Then you have it on hand when you’re feeling nostalgic and can pull it out to look back on this special season. There are great options to do it yourself if you’re more crafty or ask your photographer what options they offer!!
