An Early Morning Bottleworks Hotel Engagement Session
There is just something about a sunrise engagement session that feels extra special. The quiet streets, the soft morning light, the city slowly waking up around you. MaKenna and Joe’s sunrise engagement session at Bottleworks Hotel was exactly that kind of magic…even if it was a little colder than we would have preferred. 😅
When that alarm goes off early for a sunrise session, you question your life choices for approximately five minutes. But the second we stepped onto Mass Ave and saw that dreamy morning glow wrapping around Bottleworks, it was so worth it.
It was definitely a chilly morning, but you would never know it from their photos. We were moving fast, laughing a lot, and taking quick warm up breaks in between spots, but MaKenna and Joe were absolute troopers. Not one complaint. Just smiles, snuggles, and the sweetest chemistry the whole time. They leaned into it, stayed close, and made every moment feel effortless. Some of my favorite images from their session came from those in between seconds when they were just naturally laughing together and trying to stay warm.
Bottleworks Hotel is such a fun location for engagement sessions because it gives you that modern city feel while still feeling warm and inviting. Between the brick, the clean lines, and that golden sunrise light bouncing off everything, it was the perfect backdrop for these two.
MaKenna and Joe, thank you for waking up before the sun, braving the chill, and trusting me to capture this season for you. It was such a good one!!
