Sunset Engagement Photos at Coxhall Gardens
There’s something about a session that just keeps getting better as it goes on, and that was exactly the case with Brooke and Steven’s engagement session at Coxhall Gardens!!
From the moment we started, these two were so sweet together. They had such an easygoing way about them that made the whole evening feel relaxed and fun. No pressure, no overthinking, just the two of them spending time together and getting excited about this season of life they’re in!
One of the reasons I love Coxhall Gardens so much is that it offers such a variety of beautiful backdrops all in one place. We spent the evening wandering through the grounds, stopping anywhere that caught our eye and taking advantage of everything the park has to offer. It’s one of those locations that always delivers, no matter the season.
As the session went on, Brooke and Steven settled in more and more, and Brooke’s laugh had all of us smiling right along with her. It is truly one of those infectious laughs that you can’t help but join in on! The more they focused on each other and having fun together, the more natural everything felt. Before long, it felt like they had completely forgotten there was a camera around, which always makes for the most genuine photos.
And then came the sunset 😍
You know those evenings where you’re hoping for a little color in the sky but trying not to get your expectations too high? This was not one of those evenings thanks to the thunderstorms we had the night before. The sky absolutely showed off for us! The soft golden light turned into the most beautiful sunset and gave us the perfect ending to an already amazing session.
Honestly, this session was such a good reminder that sometimes the best thing you can do is show up, have fun, and enjoy being together. Brooke and Steven made that look easy, and it resulted in a gallery full of sweet moments, genuine smiles, and some truly beautiful photos!
