Coxhall Gardens Engagement Session

A Fun Fall Coxhall Gardens Engagement | Carmel, IN

One of the things I love most about my wedding experience is getting the chance to enjoy an engagement session with my couples. We’re obviously in the age of digital everything. We can buy almost anything we want by the click of a button while never leaving the comfort of our homes. It would be simple as a wedding photographer to ask some questions, send a contract, email a questionnaire, and then show up on the wedding day ready to meet everyone. But boy that just doesn’t do it for me! I learn a lot about my couples by the details we share throughout the planning process, but there’s nothing quite like getting to spend quality time with each other before the wedding day. Plus, who spends all their time in front of the camera every day?? Besides getting to meet and my couples learn I AM just as goofy in person as I am through email, they also get the chance to become comfortable with my style of shooting. That way on the wedding day they’re comfortable knowing how everything is going to go, no stressing required. It’s a win-win all around!

Since the moment Madison reached out to me about her and Adam’s September 2020 wedding, I knew they were a true Courtney Carney couple! They love to laugh, are clearly smitten with each other, and were naturals in front of the camera. We were lucky to have another beautiful fall evening as these two ventured down from Kokomo to meet me at Coxhall Gardens for their session. It was such a fun evening and I can’t wait to get together again next year!!
