A Doubletree Evansville Wedding

Kristen and Joe told me they wanted a joyful, peaceful day for their wedding and they certainly got that!! We all started the day at the gorgeous Doubletree Evansville downtown so everyone could get ready (and enjoy some delicious breakfast!) before heading to the St. Benedict Cathedral for the ceremony. Kristen and Joe went the traditional route and didn’t see each other until Kristen came down the aisle, it was such a sweet moment to watch Joe see her looking so beautiful! After a beautiful Mass, it was time for photos! We headed the Gerst Haus where everyone could grab a drink before our photo marathon kicked off. It was HOT so this was the perfect spot to be able to pop outside, take some photos, and then head back into the air conditioning before we all sweat to death outside! Kristen, Joe, and their wedding party were troopers though, there was so much laughter and no complaining!!

Kristen and Joe, I’m so glad you got the perfect day you deserve! I am honored you chose me to be your photographer, it was a joy working with you both!!
