A Surprise Proposal in Downtown Indianapolis
Emily and Ethanโs proposal in downtown Indianapolis was one of those stories that just keeps getting better the more you hear about it. Ethan didnโt just plan a proposal, he planned an entire experience centered around the places that mean the most to their relationship, and it was so thoughtful from start to finish.
We started the evening at the spot where they shared their very first kiss. Emily had no idea what was coming, and getting to watch everything unfold from a distance was the best. You could see the moment it all started to click for her, the excitement, the emotion, the โwaitโฆ is this really happening?โ feeling. Those are always my favorite moments to capture.
After the proposal, we spent some time wandering around, stopping at a few meaningful spots and taking photos along the way. These two were so natural together, laughing, soaking it all in, and just enjoying being in that just-engaged bubble. It never felt rushed or staged, just really genuine and full of joy.
We ended the evening in front of Tinker Street restaurant, where they had their very first date. It was the perfect full-circle moment to wrap everything up. From their first kiss to their first date, to getting engaged, all tied together in one incredible night!!
Emily and Ethan, Iโm still not over how intentional and meaningful this whole evening was. It was such an honor to be there to capture it all for you. What an amazing start to this next chapter!
