Eagle Creek Park Engagement Photos
Sarah and Brian’s engagement session at Eagle Creek Park was basically the definition of a perfect summer evening!! We had the most beautiful sunny weather, the light was absolutely gorgeous, and these two were SO cute together the entire time.
One of my favorite little full-circle moments from this session is that Brian is actually the brother of one of my brides from last year, Sam!! And Sarah was one of her bridesmaids! I love when past couples send their people my way because it instantly makes sessions feel even more fun and personal. Getting to celebrate their wedding season too is so wonderful!
From the second we started, everything felt easy and fun. Sarah and Brian were constantly laughing together, leaning into the moment, and just genuinely enjoying being with each other, which always makes for the best photos. You can instantly tell when a couple is best friends on top of everything else, and that was absolutely the vibe with these two!!
One of my favorite parts of shooting at Eagle Creek is getting to wander around to all the different little spots throughout the park, and of course we had to stop by Lilly Lake for part of their session. It’s one of my favorite locations there because it always gives such a peaceful, pretty backdrop.
What I did NOT expect though… was for us to apparently join a goose family that evening 😂
At some point while we were taking photos, we gained a whole group of geese following us around the lake. And not just a couple geese either. Momma geese showed up with babies, everyone got comfortable, and suddenly they were just fully part of the session. Now listen…I was a little hesitant about how close they were getting with those babies 😅 but Sarah and Brian absolutely loved it. And honestly? It ended up making the session even more memorable!
The best part is that not a single goose was removed from the background of their photos if they happened to wander into the frame 😂 So now I’m officially challenging everyone scrolling through this blog to count how many geese make surprise appearances throughout the gallery LOL.
Sarah and Brian, thank you both for being so easygoing and up for anything!! I had the best time with you two, geese and all!!
