A Lush, Effortless Engagement Session at the Botanical Conservatory in Fort Wayne
Some sessions just feel effortless from the very beginning, and Mariah and Evan’s engagement session at the Fort Wayne Botanical Conservatory was exactly that!!
Between the lush greenery, the beautiful light, and the overall vibe of the conservatory, it already felt like the perfect setting…but then you add in a couple like these two and it just takes everything to the next level.
Mariah and Evan made my job SO easy. From the second we started, they were completely natural together. No awkwardness, no overthinking, just the two of them being themselves and having fun with it. Those are always my favorite kinds of sessions because it allows everything to feel so genuine, and you can see that in every single photo!
The conservatory gave us such a fun variety to work with. Everywhere you turn there is another beautiful backdrop, from tropical greenery to soft, romantic light filtering through the space. It felt like we could walk just a few steps and have a completely different look, which made their gallery feel so full and dynamic.
But honestly, what made this session so special wasn’t just the location. It was the way Mariah and Evan interacted with each other. The laughter, the little in-between moments, the way they just naturally fell into each other…it all felt so easy and so them.
Sessions like this are such a good reminder that you don’t have to force anything to get beautiful photos. When you’re comfortable, having fun, and just focusing on each other, everything else falls into place!
Mariah and Evan, thank you for trusting me with this season of your lives and for making this session so much fun. It was seriously the most perfect day!!
