A Garment Factory Events Spring Wedding

Some wedding days are beautiful because of the details. Some are beautiful because of the people. Mackenzie and John’s wedding day was both!! From meaningful family traditions to sweet private moments together and one heck of a dance party at the end of the night, this day was packed with so many moments to celebrate!

We started the day at Mackenzie’s family church, which made the morning feel even more special. Several members of her family have been married there over the years, so there was a lot of history and meaning woven into the day before it had even officially begun. You could feel how important this place was to everyone involved, and it made the celebration feel that much more personal.

Before seeing John, Mackenzie shared a sweet First Look with her dad. Those parent First Looks always get me 🥹 There is just something so special about watching a dad see his daughter all dressed up and ready to walk down the aisle. It was such a heartfelt moment and the perfect way to start the day.

Then it was John’s turn! Not only did they get to see each other before the ceremony, but they also took the opportunity to read their vows privately. It gave them a chance to slow down, take a deep breath, and focus on each other before the excitement of the rest of the day took over. It was emotional, meaningful, and such a beautiful reminder of what the day was really about.

After that, the fun really got started!!

We spent time capturing portraits with the two of them, their wedding party, and of course, one very important guest… Murphy 😍 I don’t think it’s any secret how much I love when couples include their dogs in their wedding day, and Murphy absolutely understood the assignment! He was the cutest addition to portraits and made everyone smile every time he showed up.

Once portraits wrapped up, it was time for a beautiful ceremony surrounded by the people who love these two most. There was so much joy throughout the church, and it was such a sweet moment when they were finally announced as husband and wife!

From there, everyone headed to The Garment Factory to celebrate. And celebrate they did!! The reception was such a fun reflection of Mackenzie and John’s personalities. Guests were treated to Triple XXX root beer favors and Millie’s Ice Cream, which was such a fun and unique touch. Those little details always make a wedding feel even more personal, and everyone seemed to love them.

And then there was the dance floor. The second the dancing started, the party was ON! The dance floor stayed packed, everyone was having the best time, and it was the perfect way to end such an incredible day. There was so much laughter, so much energy, and so many people genuinely excited to celebrate these two.

Mackenzie and John, thank you for allowing me to be part of such a meaningful and joyful day!! Between the sweet private vows, your adorable pup, the family traditions, and one unforgettable reception, your wedding was such a fun one to photograph. Congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Dardini!!
