A Summer Elopement At The Indiana State House
Emily and Reese knew when they got engaged, a big wedding wasn’t for them. They wanted something small, intimate with the people that mean the most to them. We chatted a lot about this at their engagement session back in the fall, so I wasn’t shocked to hear from Emily that they were planning a small elopement for May. I, of course, was so excited to plan with her!
We ended up with beautiful weather to spend a few hours traveling around downtown Indianapolis for their portraits! I met them at the Bottleworks Hotel, where Emily and Reese shared a First Look before starting portraits. After some fun at Bottleworks, we headed down to the State House to get these two married! It was my first time shooting at the State House, it was just as beautiful as I imagined! After some time at the State House, we ended at the War Memorial for some more portraits before they headed off to continue the celebration with their families at dinner!
Emily and Reese, thank you so much for letting me be the one to capture this special time for the two of you! Wishing you guys all the best as the new Mr. & Mrs. Embry!!
