A Romantic Laurel Hall Engagement Session

Some engagement sessions just feel extra special from the very beginning, and Leda and Jackson’s engagement session at Laurel Hall was absolutely one of those days!!

We spent most of our time tucked inside the gorgeous solarium at Laurel Hall, staying warm and cozy while winter did its thing outside. There is just something magical about that space. The light pouring in, the greenery, the elegant architecture. It feels romantic without even trying. And to make it even more fun, we had the Olympic finals of the USA Men’s Hockey game playing in the background. 😂 I love when real life sneaks into sessions like that. It made everything feel relaxed and personal, like we were just hanging out while capturing some of the sweetest moments between the two of them!

Leda and Jackson are the kind of couple that make my job so easy. They are playful, affectionate, and completely comfortable being themselves together. Every time Jackson pulled Leda in close or she laughed at something he whispered, it felt effortless. Nothing forced. Nothing stiff. Just the two of them being exactly who they are!

Right before their session, we got the prettiest little dusting of snow. Not the kind that shuts everything down. Just enough to make the grounds look soft and magical. So of course we had to venture outside for a bit and play in it!! Who doesn’t love snow during winter sessions?! The way it brightens everything up and adds that little extra sparkle. Watching the two of them laugh, cuddle up, and enjoy the moment together was such a perfect contrast to the warm, elegant vibe inside the solarium.

If their engagement session was any indication, their September wedding at White Willow Farms is going to be full of joy, laughter, and so much love. I seriously cannot wait to celebrate with them again!
