An Engagement Session at The Belevedere | Louisville, KY

This season has been a whirlwind of busy and I’m loving every minute of it!!! A few nights ago I hopped into my car, a large Dr. Pepper in my cup holder and my favorite true crime podcast blaring through the speakers, and headed down to Louisville to spend a fun evening with Dani and Gene for their engagement session. I still chuckle about my listening choice in the car! You see, just the day before Dani had called me to say that downtown Louisville was going to be a little crazy, that she’d forgotten that Hamilton was in town and playing right at the Kentucky Center For The Performing Arts. AKA – right where we were going! She offered to have me meet them at their place and we’d all ride together. Through all of our planning meetings, Dani and I have come to the determination that we are the same person. So when I instantly said “Yes, but as long as you promise not to murder me,” she immediately answered with “Oh, I’ll send your husband a copy of my driver’s license so he knows who to turn in if you go missing!” I about died of laughter, right there on the phone! Talk about someone who gets you!! 🤣

I’m happy to say I made it home safe and sound after a fun evening with these two lovebirds. They’ve been together for 5 years and I jokingly asked them several times if they were SURE they weren’t already married!! 🤣🤣🤣 I loved seeing Louisville through their eyes and we were even able to sneak into the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts – their venue for their May 2020 wedding! – for a peek around!!
