A Summer Wedding At Wea Creek Orchard | Lafayette, IN

There are a lot of nerves when it comes to wedding days. Especially when you wake up to the decision of moving your ceremony indoors because of thunderstorms that popped up overnight (thanks Indiana weather!). But to see Abigail and Kyle, you’d never know that there was a worry in sight! Maybe it comes from having to cancel your Florida destination wedding and relocating it back home to Indiana due to COVID. These two were so excited to celebrate with their closest family and friends at Wea Creek Orchard in Lafayette!

I’m asked a lot by my couples if they can bring their animals for photos and when Abbey mentioned wanting to bring her horse Lacey, there was no way I was going to say no! She was absolutely perfect and we captured so many images I am proud of! And I hope she got all the treats we promised her while we took photos!! 😂

The groom’s sweet dad Rob asked me during the reception if I was bummed about not getting to go to Florida for their original destination wedding plans. I laughed and said no. Because while this job has the perk of traveling to fun new place, that’s not what it’s about for me. It’s about cheering on two people as they start their married life together!! Abigail and Kyle, you two are simply the best and I feel very lucky I was there to celebrate your day with you no matter where it had to be!
