Weddings Flowers Delivery Time

Wedding Flowers Delivery Time

One of the details you’ll go over with your florist is when and where you would like to have your wedding flowers delivered. You’ll find that most florists will recommend the ceremony location, as it ensures the flowers are prepped and waiting in water for your walk down the aisle. But you’ve invested in a beautiful bouquet, you want it to be a part of your detail shots!! I recommend directing your florist to drop off the wedding bouquets where the bride will be getting ready. Having them delivered to the bridal suite for detail shots gives me the chance to capture solo images of your gorgeous bouquet. Plus, bouquets play a key role in tying your whole wedding color scheme together, including them in your detail shots gives you a more consistent gallery of images!

Once the bride is dressed and ready, I often take a little time to capture some bridal portraits of the bride’s first moments in her dress. Nothing elevates these photos more than having her bouquet included! From there, it’s off to a First Look and then we move right into couples portraits and wedding party photos. One of the benefits of a First Look is to have all these photos done before the ceremony, so we definitely want to make sure we have the bouquets and boutonnieres. Don’t worry though, we’ll make sure the flowers are in water any time we don’t need them so they stay fresh throughout the day! And even if you decide not to do a First Look, we’re still going to work to get as many photos done beforehand as we can!

Chat with your florist and see what their policy is for delivery. A lot of the time they will just offer to leave the vases with you and the bridesmaids so your flowers can chill in there when you don’t need them!!
