Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to the last couple of weeks:
I love, love, LOVE when couples bring their pups to a session!! Sweet Fen just turned one and stole the show during Kaytie and Jake’s session! I mean, LOOK AT HOW HANDSOME HE IS!!!
This wedding has a special place in my heart. Courtney is my hair stylist turned friend (I’ve adored her since she gave me the honest opinion steering me away from getting bangs that I KNOW don’t work on me, but I let denial tell me I could totally do 😂) and I loved getting to see her friends and family shower her and her hubby Shane in love on their special day!!
I’ve had so many couples choose to celebrate their anniversary by hopping back into their wedding day attire!! Nicole and Ian celebrated three years back in May and though we had to delay our session to August, we couldn’t have had a more beautiful day to celebrate!!
I take on a limited number of family sessions each year, so I was so excited to have a date open when Monica reached out schedule another family session! It’s crazy how quickly the last year has gone and their three adorable kiddos have grown so much! Even better? They were SO excited for our session and were angels the whole time! I about died of cuteness overload!!! 😍
Lots of good family things happening already this month! Our nephew Joe turned nine (where has the time gone?!) and our other nephew Sawyer headed off to kindergarten this week!!
As for other exciting family things, onto our exciting announcement….WE’RE MOVING!!! With the new job Jon started last year, we’ve been wanting to move closer to where he’s working. Well we finally found a house perfect for us!! Plus we were under contract to sell our current home in less than 24 hours, thank goodness! 🙌🏻 The kids are so excited to move to the “gray house” next month and are already working hard on picking paints colors and decorations for their new rooms. I know how much you all love behind the scenes of home updates, I can’t wait to share more about the house and the updates we’ll be doing to make it ours!!
