Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to the last couple of weeks:

You know you have the best brother-in-law when he drops his plans to come to fix your busted gas line for you. We got some wild quotes for getting it repaired, including having one company dig up the yard so they can re-run the line. We’re very grateful Nate works for a gas company and was able to take care of it for us!!

Speaking of the fence work…it’s DONE! Our fence company was chomping at the bit to get it finished. So even though we had over a foot of snow on the ground, their team came out and knocked out the rest of it in one day.

We headed up to Crown Point to celebrate Harper’s birthday with my parents and my Grandpa. It’s getting too difficult for my Grandpa to travel long distances, but we didn’t want to miss seeing him. It’s worth packing up and making the trip for the smile it puts on his face!!

Somehow, someway…we have a five-year-old Harper. It still boggles my mind, since it feels like just yesterday we were bringing her home!

Had an adult lightbulb moment this week that I’m refusing to be embarrassed about. Why have I never thought to just rinse all my fruit in their packages that are literally designed to be strainers?! 🤯  I think this quarantine has officially thrown me off the deep end if this is what gets me excited 🤣 🤣 🤣

I had a girls’ day with my bestie Abbie last weekend and it was just what I needed! We had fun visiting the Indy Cottage for some new, long overdue branding photos. There were, of course, also tacos involved. Plus I was finally able to give her her Christmas present! 😂
