Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to the last several weeks:

My parents were able to come celebrate Thanksgiving with us and we had such a great day! The kids had fun showing Grandpa around the house since it was the first time he’d seen and shared all about how they helped make the pumpkin pie for dinner.

As soon as I saw my friend Maria was offering Christmas mini sessions, I hopped right on getting us signed up!! Jon and I have done the whole “I’m a photographer, we’ll just take our own photos” route, but we were just not about it this year. It was SO much nicer letting someone else lead the way so all we had to focus on was not freezing. 40 mph winds made it quite an interesting experience, but we love the family photos we got! And HOW are the kids this big?! 😭

Jackson’s school went virtual before Thanksgiving, so we’ve been adjusting our schedule to that. The online learning in the spring left much to be desired. This time around though, his teachers are ON IT. They have a schedule and gave step-by-step instructions for every single thing so I know how to help him. Plus there’s so much follow-up! Jackson is so dedicated to doing his work, if he was able to focus more on his time management he could 100% complete his work on his own.

I sent out my final galleries of the year yesterday! 🙌🏻 There’s no greater feeling as a photographer than getting your editing queue down to ZERO. Except maybe getting your inbox down to zero. 😂

Hoping to finish up my Christmas shopping this weekend so I can dedicate next week to being sneaky and wrapping everything. How are you doing with your shopping?! #teamalmostdone or #teamhaventstarted
