Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to the last couple of weeks:

We thought we were on the right track, but my Dad has ended up back in the hospital with what was plaguing him before. It’s hard to hear the doctors start from scratch on what it could be, but I’m thankful he’s right where he needs to be

We’re in the final countdown to the end of school! This week has been spirit week for Jackson and he has been very passionate about making sure he’s got something to wear for each day. Today is their Field Day and I forgot to order him a t-shirt for it (thanks Mom brain) and he makes sure I don’t forget that every day. 🤣

We got to do one of our favorite things last weekend and went to the zoo! We didn’t end up renewing our annual membership last year because of COVID and we missing doing all the fun activities last year. We had a good time walking to see all our favorites (although Harper only cared about seeing the flamingos🦩) and we’re excited to go back in a few weeks to see the new alligator and crocodile exhibit when it opens!!

The pool is OPEN! This is where I’ll be living when I’m not sleeping or photographing awesome people!! Being newbies with this pool company who will be opening and closing it for us, we waited far too long to schedule our opening and got stuck with the middle of May. Which I guess was a good thing since we still had cold weather and frost warnings until last week. 😂
