Emily + Harold | Indianapolis, IN

The sun was shining. The birds were chirping. Spring had finally decided to hang around for good here in Indiana. As I strolled down the canal towards our meeting location, I couldn’t help but smile at the city so full of life now that the sun out and shining. There were families paddle boating slowly along the canal, teenagers decked out in their fanciest prom outfits, and other photographers out enjoying the golden light with their clients. I was ecstatic the day turned out perfectly for Emily and Harold’s session!

Hosting giveaways is such a fun part of my business! It gives me the chance to reach couples from all over that I might not have the opportunity to connect with otherwise. My love language is also gift giving, so my heart is extra full using something I’m so passionate about to serve others and bring them joy!

And that brings us to Emily and Harold! They were the lucky winners of my first engagement session giveaway for the year. Let me tell you, they might have won the giveaway but I was the true winner! Emily and Harold were so much fun to work with and there was such a sense of trust in me as their photographer. They were down for anything and were happy I was there to help them feel comfortable in front of the camera. Plus they gave me the sweetest gift of all by bringing their adorable puppy Leo for the session, who instantly became my honorary photography assistant. Can you take a bad picture with a puppy in it?! I think not!

Emily and Harold, thank you so much for spending the day with me!! You truly spoiled me with all the laughter, puppy kisses and we captured some of my favorite images to date! I look forward to keeping in touch and celebrating with you next year when you become husband and wife!!
