A Hawthorns Country Club Wedding | Fishers, IN

I don’t think Taylor and Chris’s wedding day could have gone any better if we tried! From the moment I arrived, I could tell that everyone was set and ready to enjoy the day!! There was little to no frantic energy you can often feel the morning of a wedding; instead there was a calm, steady warmth and underlying excitement that lasted all day long!

We started the day getting ready at Hawthorns Country Club, with mom and the bridesmaids putting the final touches on the details and enjoying mimosas in the bridal suite. Everything was planned so well we were able to flow right through getting Taylor into her dress, to the First Look and bridal party portraits, before packing it up to head to the church. Guests began arriving just minutes after we pulled up and soon it was the final countdown to Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie time! This is one of my favorite parts of the day, the anticipation building as the bride and groom wait to share their promises with each other. I won’t lie, I was a little teary-eyed myself when Taylor came down the aisle. You see, while everyone is watching the bride, I am focused on the groom. Capturing his emotions in that moment he first sees his bride. And seeing the joy in Chris’s eyes when Taylor walked through those glass doors made my heart melt.

Taylor and Chris, your wedding day was as perfect as I knew it would be! I loved celebrating each and every moment with you and I’m blown away by how your family and friends made me feel so special. Like one of the family. I’m wishing you so much love and support as you begin this exciting new chapter together!!
