Hello family, friends, clients, and fans and welcome to my brand new blog! I am so very excited to have this updated blog and be able to share all the new, exciting things happening with Courtney Carney Photography. 2016 was a year of a lot of changes! We welcomed our baby girl (who turns ONE today….WHAT?!?) and Jon and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary in May. I also had a wild, stress-filled ride returning to my full-time job during the summer. After a lot of praying, I recently made the terrifying decision to leave my full-time position with Starbucks. I am focused on finding a job that really affords me the ability to have quality time with my family and to do what I love, photography.

2017 is going to be an amazing year and I look forward to sharing it with all of you. I am currently booking for the 2017 & 2018 wedding seasons, preview my investments here and/or send me a message via the contact form for more information!

Well, I can’t let you go without a photo, can I? It’s a particularly meaningful photograph for me!

 Since my wedding day I have had this goal in mind: on my five year anniversary I was going to photograph myself in my wedding dress. While it didn’t QUITE zip up all the way (Baby #2 had arrived 3 months before and let’s get real, I wasn’t exercising!), it made me extremely happy to slip back into this lovely gown and reflect on the years that had passed since that special day. It made me even more excited about my future with my wonderful man and the sweet little family we have. Here’s to a new goal of re-visiting this friend at 10 years!!
