The fun & exciting events that filled my week

Happy Monday, friends!

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to this past week:

-Is it just me or does anyone else struggle to get to their hairdresser consistently? I have the best of intentions, always telling myself “I’ll call and schedule my next appointment in six weeks!” It never happens. This round was SEVEN MONTHS between appointments. I think I’ve been telling Jon for at least the last 4 I was going to make an appointment. How does he stand me? Any who, my amazing stylist chopped a few inches off and I couldn’t be happier!

-Jon was out of town on Friday/Saturday for some ISSMA judging. Which meant….the whole bed to myself for one night! I had all these big dreams of going to bed at 8pm with no one around to judge me, having a snore-free and dreamless night of sleep, and that my kiddos would suddenly realize they did not actually have to rise before the sun has come up, but could sleep in until at least 7am. While I did end up in bed early, Harper was up at least four times in the middle of the night crying and we ended up just starting our day at 5:45am. So it’s nice to know I can’t even have those dreams in my head, as my children will still find out. And crush them. #extracupofcoffee

-You guys, I have had the BEST couples submit their entries for this year’s Wedding Photography Giveaway!! All their sweet stories are just warming my heart! This is the last week to enter, so if you are engaged or know someone who is, click here for the entry details!

-I had zero expectations of actually watching the Super Bowl after half time. I mean, let’s be real, I was only tuning in to see my boy Justin perform and then I figured I’d end up zonked out on the couch or heading off to bed. Surprisingly it was a real good game and I ended up watching to the end. What a great ending!! #TeamNotBrady
