THE FUN & EXCITING THINGS THAT FILLED MY WEEK

Happy Friday, friends! What fun plans do you have for the weekend?!

If youโ€™re new to Life With the Carneys, click HERE to read the first one before you get started! If youโ€™ve already been wonderful enough to follow along for the Life with the Carneys series fun, welcome back!

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to the last couple of weeks:

I was lucky enough to work with my good friend Lisa to put together another styled shoot. This time based around our love for Bridgerton!! We definitely went all out for the shoot and our vendor team was simply amazing!! ๐Ÿ˜

It’s been a rough few weeks for my dad. Once we got back from our Texas trip in March, he started to feel really bad and headed to urgent care. He’s now been in and out of the hospital a couple of times while they try to determine what’s wrong with him. My parents live up in Northwest Indiana, so we were lucky that when he needed to be transported to a more advanced facility, they let him come to Indy! It’s been stressful, but we’re all doing what we can. So if you’ve got extra room in your prayers, please say one for him!!

To go along with the luck we’ve been having with Dad in the hospital, he only gets one visitor each day. My mom wasn’t able to get into town in time for the first day after he was transported down here. I was going to go hang out with him after Jon got off work and could be home with the kids, until I got rear-ended. I was really only hit because the two cars behind me that collided flew into me from the force of that. And as luck would have it, the at fault drive had no license or insurance. ๐Ÿ™„

My dad was transported down to Indy on Easter weekend, so Jon took the kids and was able to still celebrate Easter with his family while I stayed here. They had so much fun and loved all the surprises the Easter bunny left at Auntie Skye’s house!

I got my first Covid shot! Huzzah!! A gross snowstorm might have happened the day I was scheduled to go, but that didn’t stop me. And the joke’s on that because I had no symptoms after getting the shot! ๐Ÿ˜‚
