A Newfields Engagement Session | Indianapolis, IN

This is an exciting post for me to share!! Not just because it’s full of beautiful, dreamy images, but also because these are two of Jon’s former students! Caitlyn and Tyler attended Beech Grove together and spent years putting up with having fun with Jon in the marching band. They’re off doing all those adult things now, most importantly finalizing the details for their June wedding day. And speaking of wedding details, here’s a funny one for you all! Caitlyn’s mom actually reached out about me being their photographer a few days before Tyler even proposed. So I was sworn to secrecy about their November proposal, but Caitlyn’s mom knew how important it was to Caitlyn that I photograph her wedding. I mean, I am just so lucky to have such amazing client with such loving families!! Y’all make me feel so loved!!!

Luckily the crazy spring weather that has been dumping rain on us gave us a slight reprieve so that we could spend some quality time together. We met on a perfect spring evening at Newfields and I was freaking out about how amazing these two looked! I was also able to fulfill a photo that I’ve always dreamed of doing at The Gardens gates for years now!! We might have had a security guard eagle eyeing us while we did so, but oh well!! I can’t wait to see this two in front of my camera again SOON for their June wedding!!!
