Wedding Venue Indianapolis I'd Love To Photograph

My Bucket List of Indianapolis Wedding Venues

The Indianapolis area is full of so many beautiful wedding venues available for brides and grooms to celebrate their wedding day. I love to travel and the experience of photographing in a venue I’ve never been! Indianapolis has such a wide range, from urban to rustic, within its metro area. For today’s post, I wanted to share with you the top wedding locations in and around Indianapolis I’ve been admiring and would love the opportunity to photograph!

Laurel Hall

Laurel Hall is a beautiful old mansion that holds weddings for 200 people or less and is an ideal location to have both your ceremony and reception. The mansion is full of character and stunning details, most notably its lovely hardwood floors. It has an array of beautifully sculpted gardens with an abundance of flowers and greenery. You really can’t go wrong with this stunning venue!

 Canal 337

Canal 337 is located on the central canal in downtown Indianapolis. It is an industrial, urban-chic venue consisting of two floors with picturesque skyline views. There are several outdoor terraces that sit right above the canal that I imagine I could capture some stunning bride and groom portraits on!

Lucas Estate

Oh. My. Goodness. This place is stunning! Located in Carmel, Indiana, this one may be the favorite from this list. This property’s amazing architecture and gorgeous estate is reminiscent of a French Country Manor, with amazing brickwork and French-style gardens dripping in elegance. What an amazing location to be married in!

Mustard Seed Gardens

This gorgeous escape is nestled in the heart of Noblesville, Indiana with a rich history dating back to the mid-1800s. Originally a property deeded to George Metsker by President Andrew Jackson, the “Olde Barn” and event areas still incorporates picturesque landscapes and old world charm but with modern conveniences. I’m dying to capture some stunning bride and groom portraits in both the original Metsker House and the rolling hillsides!

The Sycamore at Mallow Run Winery

This one is on here, but I’m about to cross it off the list next month! This gorgeous venue is located in Bargersville, Indiana, just 20 minutes south of downtown. A more secluded location, it is a rustic, yet elegant spot surrounded by amazing natural elements and vineyards. How could you go wrong having your special day at a vineyard?!

Black Iris Estate

Another stunning estate located in Carmel, Indiana on 13 acres. Originally the Oak Hill Manor, the site has undergone a complete revitalization. Having been to Oak Hill for some business functions, I have been wanting to see all the amazing changes in person! I was scheduled to shoot a wedding here last month, but COVID-19 has other plans! So it’ll be just a little longer until this is crossed off the list!

Indianapolis Zoo

Our family absolutely loves the Indianapolis Zoo!! What a fun space to have a wedding! I mean, you can have your reception with the dolphins!! WHAT?! It’s gorgeous gardens and the Hilbert Conservatory combine to make this a truly unique and spectacular experience.

The Barn at Bay Horse Inn

This beautiful venue is located in Greenwood, Indiana and boasts a barn, an Inn, a stable, and saloon. Located on 35 acres, its Event Barn is situated deep in the trees for a country chic and natural feel. They’ll even let you take photographs with their horses! It is open year round has several facilities so that brides and grooms have the flexibility for their day no matter what mother nature decides.

Iron & Ember

Located at the gorgeous Brookshire Golf Club in Carmel, this new venue offering a modern, industrial vibe has moved straight to the top of my list! It has the most amazing views and is a photographer’s dream full of all the natural light!!

Are you a bride and groom planning your celebration and getting married at one of these locations in 2021 or 2022? Send me a message, I would LOVE to chat with you!
