Happy Monday everyone! To all my parent and teacher friends, happy last week of school if this is it for you!! We’re so close to summer break, hang in there!! Plenty of sunshine and wine is heading your way 😉

Here’s a look at the events/learnings that transpired this past week:

• I love being a homeowner. It gives me the actual willies to think about ever moving back into apartment living, especially now having two kids. What I do not love is the abysmal luck Jon and I seem to have with household essentials. If it’s in a house, we’ve probably had to repair or replace it. Between the two houses we’ve owned, we’ve replaced a roof, a water heater, a furnace, had our air go out several times, had a pipe burst in our bathroom…..oy vey. Our dryer decided to fry itself sometime last weekend and poor Jon spent days trying to fix it. WHILE being super busy with his school concerts in the evenings. I’m happy to say he vanquished the dryer demon and I can gratefully do laundry again!
• Harper is SO interested in the potty. I’m positive it stems from the fact that she needs to be doing everything Jackson is doing. And, who knew, that flushing the toilet could be quite so entertaining!! I spend half of my time chasing her out of the bathroom so we can all go in peace or so she doesn’t unroll the toilet paper all over the house. She almost won the toilet paper battle yesterday, as I was distracted by Jackson. Sneaky kids….
• The Amy & Jordan posing course is all I hoped it would be, and more! I’m partway through the second module and I have already learned so many basic things that could really help my client experience. I can’t wait to put what I’ve learned to good use for some family portraits next weekend!!
