Winter Wedding At The Morton Arboretum | Lisle, IL

Are brunch weddings one of my new favorite things?! As my daughter, Harper would say…THEY SURE ARE!! The early morning start was helped along by a lot of coffee, but when you’re dished up some amazing creme brulee french toast you forget all about that. Lauren and her mom joked they booked The Morton Arboretum because of that french toast. Which I can relate to since Jon and I only booked the country club for our reception for the lobster sauce we had with dinner! 😂

It’s been a mild winter by Indiana standards, but Lauren still secretly hoped for snow showers on her and Anthony’s special day. So I could only laugh as my second photographer Abbie and I drove to Lisle, IL the night before the wedding, slow and steady through the snow pelting our windshield. The day of dawned sunny but frigid and I wondered how much I was going to need to bribe every to take pictures outside in the snow!! Well no bribery necessary as there was nothing Lauren and Anthony’s friends and family wouldn’t do to make their day perfect!!

Lauren and Anthony, I feel so grateful I was able to celebrate your day with you! I felt an instant bond that I have cherished over the last year or so of wedding planning together. I can’t wait to continue to celebrate the two of you and your marriage!!
