A Summertime Engagement Session At Turkey Run State Park
I think Kelli and Tyler win the award for the longest engagement session I’ve ever shot! We headed out on a sunny, warm evening last week for their session at Turkey Run State Park. I quickly figured out this was quite different than some of the other state parks I’ve photographed at. We weren’t able to drive through the park looking for and shooting at different locations but instead had to hoof it everywhere on foot. OY! And in our quest to find a location we’d seen on Google, we had an impromptu 40-minute hike through the dark, dense trees (I hope your legs have recovered, guys! Mine still protest walking up our stairs. 😂 ). Definitely not ideal for natural light shooting! The sun was on our side though. By the time we made it down to the water for some shots, it was soft and dreamy and these two were adventurous enough to get into the water for some of my favorite shots of the session!
Much love friends,
These are all so beautiful!!! Love that glowy backlighting!
