Ana + Justin

Ana and Justin are MARRIED! They celebrated their day at the historic Halls of Justice in downtown Crown Point and I have to say, I consider myself extremely lucky to have been a small part of it. Photographing a wedding in my home town made for an easy day and it ended up being gorgeous weather! There was some serious stalking of the weather radar in the week leading up to their big day, as it was calling for some pretty severe weather. Luckily the monsoon held off until well into their reception and we were able to spend all of our portrait time outside!

One of my favorite parts of the day was watching Ana and Justin exchange the vows they wrote for each other. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house! There was laughter, there were tears and there were the meaningful looks of two people so in love and excited to begin the next step in their journey together. Their devotion to each other is truly something special, you only have to look at the expression on Justin’s face when he first saw Ana walking down the aisle to understand. And the amount of love and support that surrounded them throughout was simply a joy to watch. It felt like being wrapped in a never-ending hug, all day long! And I was just the photographer on the sidelines!
