A Summertime Engagement Session at Holcomb Gardens | Indianapolis, IN

If I had to give this engagement session a title, I’d channel my favorite show, Friends, for some inspiration and title it “The One We Thought Was Never Going to Happen.” You see, Maddie and Joe hold the worst prestigious award of being the couple I have had to reschedule a session wish the most. I’ve had their engagement session on the books since I think March. MARCH! But thanks to some work conflicts and the extremely rainy spring we had, we had to keep pushing it back. And back. And back. So though it was in the 90s and humid, the sun was shining and Maddie and I both agreed we were doing the session no matter what! 😂

Maddie and Joe were troopers and the hot weather didn’t keep them from crushing their session! I am always so lucky to be working with madly in-love people who clearly adore being around each other and boost my ego by laughing at my corny jokes! We chose one of my favorite downtown spots, Holcomb Gardens, and it was the perfect spot to find tons of shade to keep all of us comfortable! It was such a fun session and I can’t wait to get together again soon for their September wedding at Cornerstone Hall!
